Editorial Policy

TurnOver LA publishes practical, operational content for Los Angeles landlords and small property managers. This page explains how that content is produced, edited, and reviewed.

Who writes our content

Articles in our Blog and Guides libraries are drafted with AI assistance and substantively edited by Jason Farone, Owner of TurnOver LA. Jason has personally operated and overseen 1,200+ Los Angeles apartment turnovers and brings that operational context to every piece of content we publish.

How AI is used

We use large language models (currently OpenAI's GPT-5) to generate first drafts based on real customer questions, real search demand, and the live TurnOver LA service catalog. The AI produces an outline and a working draft. A human editor then rewrites at least 15% of the word count, adds first-hand operational detail, verifies every price and legal citation, and approves the post for publication.

What we will not do

  • We will not publish content that has not been edited by a human with operational expertise.
  • We will not fabricate prices, legal citations, or LA-specific facts. Every price in our content is cross-referenced against the live TurnOver LA service catalog.
  • We will not accept paid placements or affiliate links inside editorial articles. When we recommend a vendor or tool, it is because we use it ourselves.

Our sources

Legal claims about California rental law are cited inline to primary sources, typically the California Civil Code, the Los Angeles Housing Department, or the California Department of Consumer Affairs. We link to the originating statute or agency page so readers can verify directly.
